There are numerous lists of the best cafes in Berlin where you can sit as long as you drink coffee. But there's more!
Non-Cafes:
- Staatsbibliothek Berlin offers quiet work spaces, and the one at Unter den Linden even beautiful meeting rooms you can reserve for free. You need to register as a member though, to get in, but it's free.
- Branch at Unter den Linden
- Branch at Podsdamer Platz
- Zentrale Landesbibliothek has two branches (Berliner Stadtbibliothek & Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek), which are both great to work from. No membership needed to just get work done there.
- Branch at Humboldtforum
- Branch at Hallesches Tor
Cafes:
- Quartier Zukunft seems like Capital One Cafe in SF, but has a bit more pressure on buying stuff in the Cafe area or alternatively you can get 4hrs in the coworking area for €10.
- St. Oberholz is the very original cafe to get work done and you at least have to try it if you want to have a I-work-from-Berlin experience
- Coffee Cirlce are really good, depends a bit on the location. My favorite one is Torstraße which previously was a St. Oberholz.
